Professor Mary-Anne Williams is the Michael J Crouch Chair in Innovation at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. She has been an international leader in the field of AI for more than 25 years, and was selected as a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) for her research leadership and significant contributions to human-computer interaction (HCI). She founded and leads the UNSW Business AI Lab and has served as Deputy Director of the UNSW AI Institute and Affiliate Faculty at Stanford University since 2009. Her research spans decision-making, machine learning, and innovation, focusing on human-AI innovation.
