Professor Mary-Anne Williams is Chief AI Scientist at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, with expertise across AI, agentic AI, human-AI collaboration, decision-making and innovation.
At the University of New South Wales, Mary-Anne is the Founder of the UNSW Business AI Lab and previously Deputy Director of the UNSW AI Institute. She has been an international leader in the field of AI for more than 25 years, and was selected as a Fellow of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) for her research leadership and significant contributions to human-computer interaction (HCI).
